The Sixth Sense
This April 17 and 18, the can’t-miss spring stationary event put on by the Greeting Card Association will come to vibrant life in its sixth iteration at San Francisco’s gorgeous Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. While favorite elements such as its Art of the Card displays and award-winning Pitch Program return, new for 2024 is the seamless incorporation of gift exhibitors into “neighborhoods” within the floor layout for a well-rounded, dynamic buying experience.
“It is exciting to see *Noted expand to include stationery- adjacent gifts with Gifted: The Creative Gift & Home Expo,” said GCA Executive Director Nora Weiser. “Buyers are looking for a show that is different, and *Noted+Gifted offers that, welcoming them as valued members of our community.”
The festivities technically kick off Tuesday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m., with the 35th Annual Louie Award Ceremony + Reception. Also new at the two-day event this year are several 20-minute educational sessions. Don’t miss mine Thursday at 1 p.m., as I sit down with Stationery Trends Advisory Board Member Jennifer Luna of Paper-Luxe. We’ll have an open-ended discussion of current challenges and opportunities within the stationery market.
Your adventure starts at greetingcard.org, and I hope to see you there!
