Aesthetic of the Line?
Equal parts sass and sophistication, made oh-so-special by letterpress. We like to say design and letterpress are our soul mates. They’re the Sagittarius to our Aries, the lashes to our Twiggy. We do old things in new ways because we understand the value of both. It’s how we make art that people appreciate.
Current Bestseller?
Bye Bye Sleep Cloud — sweet and fun and so very true! The blind press with just a hint of color makes this card speak to the heart and bring a smile.
Personal Favorite?
I’m stupid in love with this dose of sass married to an elegant, sophisticated aesthetic. It makes you look twice, and smile.
Surprise Hit?
Older, Wiser, Better Looking. It’s proof positive that people like to look on the bright side of aging!
Iconic Selection?
Biba is a new brand, but we were true to our Page Stationery roots with our Frame Notes. With A1 flat note sets, people appreciate being able to jot off a quick note rather than writing an epistle to fill space. We love them because the design possibilities are endless — who doesn’t like to have fun with a repeating pattern!
Favorite Color?
Biba Pink, baby! PMS218.
Current Design Obsession?
Overlapping colors inspired by Alan Kitching, a British graphic designer and letterpress master. What that man did with the alphabet is amazing. We tried technique in our 2019 Holiday Collection, and you’ll see our take on it a lot more in 2020.
Favorite Flower?
The poppy. You’ll find it more than once in our designs.
Favorite Indulgence?
My happy place is a deserted beach with a cocktail in one hand and a book in the other. Duh.
