The Western Toy and Hobby Representatives Association (WTHRA) celebrates its Diamond Anniversary with 60 years of producing its toy show in the west! To celebrate this accomplishment, the WTHRA Board of Directors have chosen to relocate ToyFest West 2022 to The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas, a newly opened, purpose-built tradeshow facility in downtown Las Vegas.

As an added benefit, ToyFest West attendees will have access to some cross-over gift and accessory lines presented in the World Market Center Las Vegas permanent showrooms. WTHRA is excited to announce ToyFest West will be exhibiting in The Expo, March 9-11, 2022, for its 60^th Anniversary.

Plans were kicked off at the WTHRA Board of Director’s and ToyFest West’s Slate of Officer’s combined meeting this summer. There are many proven aspects that work well for ToyFest West at our previous shows, and will continue such as the Morning Masterpieces Craft Fair, the fabulous Game Night, toy business related educational seminar, exclusive show specials, the wildly popular ToyFest Cash and Product Raffles, and of course the welcoming Gala where brilliant toy industry individuals are inducted into the Western Toy & Hobby Representatives Hall of Fame and we collectively honor the Retailer of the Year.

Membership Drive

WTHRA will be holding a membership drive in October to offer manufacturers perks for joining as a loyal member of the toy association. “Some members have returned year after year dating back to the early 60’s to show their support,” Lawrence Nissen, president of WTHRA, said.

Some of the perks this year include lead retrieval at ToyFest, name, company, and details in the show directory and toyfestwest.com, and special reduced rates for certain WTHRA’s functions.

The attendee registration platform was remodeled in 2020 with a password protected site which enables retailers who attended the past two years to update their current information. Registration is open and retailers should now become registered for what is certain to be a fabulous ToyFest West 2022. Exhibitor Registration will be open by November.

More details about the show will be made available as plans are finalized such as the 2022 Hall of Fame Inductees, Retailer of the Year, Seminar Speaker(s), Game Night and Morning Masterpieces sponsors and Hotel Reservations. At this time, the Directors and Officers invite you to mark your calendars and register for an exciting and productive 60^th Anniversary show at ToyFest West 2022.
