Tombow introduces scholarship for art students
Tombow is now accepting applications for its new Create Your Best Work Art Scholarship, with a grand prize of $5,000. Three students pursuing a degree in visual arts will be selected. The scholarship is available to high school seniors (graduating by May 2019) and college freshman and sophomore students in the United States.
“We know that it takes the best products to create your best work – and we want to help equip young artists with the tools to flourish in their industry,” a Tombow press release states.
To qualify, students must be currently enrolled or accepted and seeking a visual arts degree at a U.S. university, college or art school. Employees of American Tombow, Inc., as well as immediate family and household members of each such employee, are not eligible. Members of Tombow’s Design Team and Brand Ambassador Program are also not eligible.
Scholarship applications are due March 31, 2019.
