NSS names Best New Product winners
The National Stationery Show announced the Best New Product Award winners Sunday, May 21. Judges for the event were:
- Sarah Schwartz, editor, Stationery Trends
- Nole Garey, blogger, Oh So Beautiful Paper
- Natalie Chang, trade show director, Lifeguard Press
- Kandice Matsler, owner, Barque Gifts
“The Best New Product Awards is an industry milestone, one that everyone looks to, recognizing and highlighting the newest and most innovative products in the market,” said Kelly P. Bristol, the NSS show director. “Everyone — judges and attendees alike — are amazed and impressed with the insight and expression of our exhibitors through beautiful products.”
Nearly 200 entries were received and showcased in the Best New Product display. Lily & Val received the Best of Show award for the Chalk Lettering Tool Kit. The kit includes a 10-inch-by-7-inch natural canvas pouch, designed with love down to the last dot. It also includes a box of Valerie’s favorite chalk (Crayola White Anti-Dust), Chalk Ink Marker, sharpener, wooden ruler, microfiber cloth, felt eraser, pink pencil, cotton swabs and a helpful guide with exclusive tips and tricks written by Valerie McKeehan.

Products new to market since the 2016 National Stationery Show, or after June 1, 2016, were eligible for the competition, and exhibitor submissions were limited to one product per category.
