Dallas Total Home & Gift Market: The first market delivers top trends, connections, community

Dallas Market Center announces details for its upcoming Total Home & Gift Market, Jan. 8-14, 2025.

January market is the largest debut of new products for giving and living inside permanent showrooms in three buildings plus four neighborhoods of temporary booths open only during market.

In addition to new products, the market will include a full schedule of events for the retail and design community, with experts and influencers presenting tours, seminars, presentations, and networking opportunities to deepen knowledge and create a shared community to expand business for the new year. 

New and expanded showrooms

There are a number of additions and expansions debuting at the January show. In the World Trade Center, Vivian Watson Associates (WTC 6694) debuts, presenting hardware and furniture; Anne McGilvray (WTC 270) makes an expansion; Giftcraft moves from the Trade Mart into WTC 333; and there are expansions from American Best (WTC 452), Melrose/Ekkolight Infinity Lights (WTC 305-1), Zaer (WTC 394), Oriental Trimmings (WTC 6694) and Pasha Furniture (WTC 680). Relocating brands include Ashore (WTC 521) and Boston Mills (WTC 6690).

In the Trade Mart, there is a major expansion from leading multi-line gift agency Patrick & Co. (TM 2927/2727/2741) which will include more than a dozen new brands. Plus Olivia Riegel (TM 2618) is relocating and expanding, and the market center welcomes the following new showrooms: Christian Art Gifts (TM 1400), wrapping and ribbon from Laribbons and Crafts (TM 2634), and lifestyle brand Laura Park Designs/Prince of Scots (TM 1420). 

In the Interior Home & Design Center building is the debut of the Textile Salon (IHDC 2F215), a first for Dallas Market Center and a shared space for fine fabrics and trim; window and floor coverings; wallpaper; and decorative hardware. Inaugural tenants include Kravet (IHDC 2F215-FG10), H&M Designs Presenting Graber Window Treatments (IHDC 2F215- FG 6), and Dallas Rugs (IHDC 2F215-FG5), with additional exhibitors to come. The space also features a design workspace and seminar/meeting space, which will host events during Total Home & Gift Market.

Also debuting in the IHDC is Coco & Dash To The Trade, a multi-line showroom offering art, mirrors, pillows, lampshades, lighting, textiles, beds, bedding, lifestyle items, antiques, and interior design services. Located in IHDC 1D106, the showroom will showcase Coco & Dash Heritage, Fete Home, Fleur Home, Jill Seale Design Studio, Matouk, Ornis Gallery, Pooky Lighting, Reprotique, R. Lusk Studios, Savoy House, and Trey Hoffmann Art. Additionally, showroom partners will include Thibaut, F. Schumacher & Co., Fermoie, Cowtan & Tout, and Custom Workroom Services.

The Gallery (IHDC ID202), the shared space of design resources on the first floor, welcomes natural stone designs from Marble Crafter (IHDC GL22), innovative doors from Trendy Doors, (IHDC GL112), and contemporary designs in frameless, changeable, or floating acrylic picture frames from Wexel Art (IHDC GL24).

Inside the Surya showroom (IHDC 1D321), is the debut of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. Well-known and beloved for its sustainably crafted, American-made upholstery and limitless customization, the iconic furnishings collection is back — better than ever, and available exclusively to the trade. 

Other arrivals in the IHDC are ArtVia Design (IHDC 2F433), a new location for Crestview Collection (IHDC 2F101), previously located in the World Trade Center, and an expansion from Porch View Home (IHDC 2F446).

In the Temps

For January the Temps at Total Home & Gift Market will include remerchandised destinations, new exhibitors and special promotions inside the discovery zone for new products that will help retailers stand out.

The World Trade Center 11th floor is the new destination for apparel, accessories, and jewelry plus a curated design collection called Boutique featuring better apparel and design-oriented fashion accessories exuding visionary style, exceptional craftsmanship and higher-end materials. Exhibitors in Boutique include Caryn Lawn, Vendula London, Seamstress for the Band, ACYA Design, Deepa Gurnani, and many others; exhibitors in apparel include Oli and Hali, Lovely Melody, and Glam; and exhibitors in fashion accessories/jewelry include Simply Southern, Katydid, Dax Eyewear, Jacqueline Kent, Accessory Concierge, and Clearly Handbags.

Market Hall is the marketplace for order-writing and immediate goods including artisan, gift and jewelry, fine jewelry, home décor, furniture, vintage and antiques. Exhibitors in Artisan include Caryn Lawn, Eat Drink Host, SOS Pajamas, Words for a Season, Glenda Gies, and Georgina/Lola’s Bags. In the Home & Vintage area exhibitors include Karma Living, Age of Industry, Antlerworxx, Jaded Gypsy, and In the Land of Elsewhere. Finally, in the Gift & Jewelry area, exhibitors include Texas True Threads, Lavender Thorne, Under Wraps, Savvy Bling, and Wilder & Soul.

On the Trade Mart first floor, the Luxe Design Temps will debut. This neighborhood presents Dallas Market Center’s most prestigious, curated collection of high design home accents, specialty gift & tabletop items. Exhibitors will include Linen Salvage, Piffany Copenhagen, LX Artworks-Aaron Ekstrom, Cozy Earth, Steve Snyder Turning, Linen Casa, Etu HOME, Porto Brasil, and others. 

The 12th floor of the World Trade Center will be the largest presentation of products for gift, gourmet, handmade, home accents and seasonal. In Body & Spa, exhibitors will include At Last! Makeup Mirror, Sugarberry Creek Candle Co., California Mango, The Wild Susan, and Caprice & Co. In the Emerging Gift area: Wrapido!, Play Away Mahjong Cards, Eklektik Pieces, Reminder Nail Polish, Rebecca Illustrated. The MADE area will include J & J Woodshop, The Colored Petal, Jarmz Designs, West Glow Studio, and Tallas Imports. Many of the top multi-location retailers and buying groups, representing billions of dollars in purchasing power, will conduct business at Dallas Market Center during Total Home & Gift Market.

35th ARTS Awards

Dallas Market Center and ART, the creative home furnishings network, will hold the 34th ARTS Awards on Friday, January 10 at the Hilton Anatole hotel, hosted by Thom Filicia and Carson Kressley. The ARTS Awards is the premier international awards program dedicated to home industry excellence and achievement. The ARTS Awards will include category awards as well as a special Academy of Achievement honor for Andy Singer, founder and CEO of Visual Comfort; the Trailblazer award to Lois Del Negro, co-founder of Global Views; and a special HEARTS Award presented to The H Foundation honoring their annual cancer fundraising event, Goombay Bash. The ARTS Awards Preview Party takes place on Thursday at 6 p.m. in IHDC 2F212. All buyers are welcome to attend; tickets for the Friday gala are available on the Dallas Market Center website.

Style Eyes Trendspotting

A collection of experts, influencers and retailers will be discovering new products at market, as the Style Eyes returns for winter leveraging insights and discoveries. The Style Eyes will spot must-see and unique products and trends across the marketplace including gifts, home décor, lighting, holiday/floral and more. Spark Magazine: Winter Issue

More than 50,000 customers receive the winter issue of Spark magazine, the stylish pre-market publication highlighting trends, what’s new inside the market center, and insights from makers and influencers. For January, the cover features Tan France and Cara Fox, design professionals and style influencers, sharing insights on projects and their professions. Additional content focuses on tablescapes featuring tabletop and gift items, holiday décor, lighting trends, a trip to the Hill Country for inspiration, a special section on The Temps, and hot tips for eating and drinking while in Dallas. The magazine is also available on the website.

Hotel offers

Dallas Market Center partner hotels are offering rates to support buyer travel budgets. Dozens of hotels, many within walking distance of the campus, are offering updated rates as low as $160.
