National Stationery Show presents new registration system, logo and tagline
Online registration for the National Stationery Show (NSS) is open at www.nationalstationeryshow.com, with a new system capability allowing attendees to link to, and through, their social media platforms.
Advance registration for NSS, which is free to qualified retailers, is available online until Tuesday, May 12 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). After that date, registration costs $60 for qualified buyers who are first-time registrants. Upon completion of online registration, participants will receive a barcode that is redeemable for a badge at any NSS self-registration terminal at the Javits Center.
For 2015, the NSS also unveils a new tagline, “Stationery, Distinctive Gifts & Creative Pursuits,” encapsulating the show’s emphasis on its core social stationery category (encompassing greeting cards, invitations and paper products) as well as the wide range of related offerings. In addition, a new logo reflects the show’s style and personality –—contemporary and bright as well as innovative and creative.
Beyond the show’s core focus on social stationery, it presents four distinct sections showcasing complementary lifestyle products and resources for creative crafting pursuits. The four sections are: #fresh (a juried section featuring emerging businesses of 1-5 years), Gift It (related lifestyle products), Creative Arts (creative crafting products) and The Supply Side (a B-to-B section featuring manufacturing resources for social stationery and giftware companies, as well as designers). In total, the show, which takes place annually at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, features nearly 800 exhibiting companies and attracts some 10,000 buyers worldwide.
