ModMart names Michael Simpson as a partner

ModMart announced that Michael Simpson has joined the company as a Partner. Simpson will focus on business development, including the expansion of the ModMart Affiliate Partner program, as well as steering the overall strategy of the company, positioning it for accelerated growth in 2020.

An entrepreneur since his early 20’s, Michael’s first worked as an independent contractor selling networks in the insurance industry. He moved on to become a founding partner of the technology-enabled services company, OneSource Virtual. OneSource Virtual is a provider of services to customers using the Workday HR platform including deployment of the technology, support, and BPaaS offerings in payroll, payroll tax, benefits administration, and finance.

Simpson handled various roles as OSV grew to well over $100 million in revenue with 900 employees in the U.S. and the U.K. His roles included building out sales operations, leading their Workday reseller team, building out their global partner/alliance strategy and serving as a board member. Michael also was involved in their fund-raising activities, attracting over $180 million through four rounds of funding. His experience in sales, operations and finance will be an asset to ModMart.

ModMart, launched in October 2019, is an online wholesale website designed to bring gift buyers and sellers together in an entirely new way. ModMart is working in concert with existing sales agencies to create a buying/selling experience that works seamlessly within the existing sales structure. ModMart offers retailers an easy, efficient buying experience and vendors a new B2B sales platform designed to complement their existing sales efforts and introduce their product to a new audience.
