In an effort to provide a safe shopping experience for buyers and retailers, the LA Mart announced that they will be open for showroom-only appointments during their scheduled Summer Market. The Gift and Home Advisory Board of the LA Mart has released this letter further detailing their efforts:

Dear Friends of the LA Mart,

These are unprecedented times and we, the tenants of the LA Mart, believe that it is prudent to act responsibly and make ourselves available to you, our customers, in the safest manner possible.

To that end, we’d like to let you know that we plan on holding the LA Mart Summer Market as scheduled August 20-24. Note that this market will be focused exclusively on permanent showroom business.

A showroom-only approach to this market will allow us to better manage the number of people in the building to avoid large gatherings. We encourage all showrooms and buyers to set appointments to allow for social distancing with close capacity management.

We are committed to providing a safe environment and will work hard towards supporting our community to conduct business at the LA Mart safely and responsibly.

The LA Mart has developed detailed and thorough protocols. Here is what you can expect when you arrive.

• Easy, safe registration.
• The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory and a part of our daily operation protocol.
• Free parking.
• Food options in the main lobby.
• A friendly and welcoming shopping experience.
