GCA provides details on its Keep US Posted campaign

The Greeting Card Association (GCA) released a statement related to the Postal Service Reform Law and its Keep US Posted campaign. Here is the statement that was released:

“As you know the USPS recently raised stamp prices and the charge for extra weight and square cards. It appears they are making preparations to raise postage rates again in January. The Postal Service Reform Law provided tens of billions in financial relief for the USPS and we believe the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) should review the cap on postage rates to make sure the benefits of the new law are reflected in an accurate and affordable price cap.

GCA has led a petition to the PRC to conduct this review. Adding your voice to the call for a new rate review would be helpful in convincing the Commission to accept the petition.

The Keep US Posted campaign that GCA is helping lead has developed an easy portal to allow anyone to quickly submit a message supporting the petitions. Simply click HERE and follow the instructions.

Please take a few minutes to take action to ensure that postage rates are as affordable as possible for our customers. Many thanks!

Tom Shoaf, Chairman, GCA Public Affairs Committee”
