GCA Annual Convention Dates and Location Announced
The 72nd Annual Convention of the Greeting Card Association (GCA) will take place from Wednesday, Sept. 18, through Saturday, Sept. 21, at The Westin Savannah Harbor in Savannah, Ga., just a short ferry boat ride away from the historic downtown area. All members of the industry – both GCA members and nonmembers – are invited to attend.
Themed “Turn It On,” this year’s GCA Convention lineup includes guest experts on generational behavior and on the power of social media, as well as a very special presentation on design and trends with students from the Savannah College of Art & Design. There’s also an option to “Ask the Experts” on several topics relevant to the industry; plus great food, fun and numerous networking opportunities.
An early-bird discount of $100 off per registrant is being offered to those registering for the GCA Convention by Monday, July 15. Additionally, a special discounted group rate of $199 per night at The Westin Savannah Harbor is available to GCA Convention attendees who book by Aug. 25. This discounted hotel rate is also available for three days before and three days after the Convention dates, subject to availability.
