ABC News features Coral & Blue Paper Co.

Coral & Blue Paper Co., maker of an innovative line of stationery for kids, was featured on ABC News 10 in New York’s Capital District region. Founder and owner, Ashley Campbell, was interviewed by the influential news channel about her unique product line of children’s stationery that is not only beautiful, but meets the needs of elementary-aged kids.

“My own young kids, with their larger handwriting… just couldn’t fit in what they had to say on traditional stationery,” explains Ashley during the segment, which is airing in multiple time slots ABC News’s broadcasts during July and currently featured on their website. So, Ashley created a line of thank-you cards with a wide writing area, elementary lines to keep sentences straight, space for a drawing or photo, and a classic silhouette of a child on each card.

The ABC News 10 interview is part of their “Saratoga’s Own” series, featuring prominent local businesses and entrepreneurs. The News 10 reporter notes that Ashley runs gratitude workshops, teaching them the basics of writing a thank-you note.  “I think when kids learn to express gratitude,” says Ashley, “it really helps them take the focus off of the things they don’t have, and think about the things that they do have. And they end up being happier.”

Coral & Blue Paper Co. is a maker of patented children’s stationery in Saratoga Springs, NY. Our mission is to encourage gratitude, thoughtfulness and creativity, and to help bring back the thank you note with stationery designed to make note-writing both simple and joyful to do.
