Spring 2023 High Point Market to feature updated resources, programming
International Market Centers (IMC) updated its resources and programming for Spring 2023 High Point Market as it presents more than 1,000 permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits showing new furniture, décor, lighting, rugs and more.
According to IMC. its updates aim to make its 17 downtown properties can’t-miss destinations at the April 22-26 show.
“Continued investment in the optimization of the Market experience has created unmatched exploration opportunities for High Point Market attendees in IMC’s properties this Spring,” says Bob Maricich, CEO of IMC. “Not only do we present the most critical mass of brands, the shopability of our buildings combined with proprietary tools to identify what’s new and next connect retailers and designers with the trendsetting product they need now.”
Resource updates
According to IMC, the organization made more than 100 updates to refresh its 700-plus permanent showrooms and 300-plus temporary exhibits. The exhibits are offered across 17 showroom buildings and three temporary exhibit destinations: InterHall, The Suites at Market Square (SAMS) and Plaza Suites.
IMC says it strategically realigned resources with next phase of updates in the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) and the launch of reorganization in Showplace.
IHFC features 20 new, expanded and relocated showrooms to create a new, contiguous five-floor collection of accessories, lighting, rug and textiles and a complementary contiguous seven-floor offering furniture brands across the industry. Showplace updates driven by a new 100,000-square-foot showroom for Hooker Furnishings aim to bring more design-driven product to the building, IMC says. Additional showroom updates in 200 North Hamilton, Historic Market Square, Market Square Tower and Plaza Suites also bring new product to the semi-annual Market.
IMC’s temporary exhibits take place in InterHall at IHFC, The Suites at Market Square (SAMS) and Plaza Suites. InterHall presents more than 70 furniture and décor exhibitors. SAMS features 200-plus decor exhibitors on three floors, including the Salon juried collection. Plaza Suites has more than 15 furniture exhibitors in on the ground floor of Furniture Plaza.
IMC’s High Point properties include: 300 E. Green St.; 300 S. Main St.; Commerce & Design Building; Furniture Plaza; Historic Market Square; International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC); Klaussner on Hamilton; Market Square Textile Tower; National Furniture Mart; Plaza Suites; Showplace; The Suites at Market Square (SAMS); and five on Hamilton Street – 121, 200, 320 and 330 N.
