Qualatex moves World Balloon Conference to 2022 and creates new bridge event

The COVID-19 pandemic has shown that the best-laid plans can be thrown off course! The outbreak affected all businesses in varying ways – from slowdowns to complete shuttering. The World Balloon Conference (WBC) 2021 was moved to WBC 2022 because of the pandemic.

Since the postponement, Qualatex has gathered input and suggestions from around the world. In general, the pandemic is subsiding (though not necessarily in all countries), and, excitingly so, the celebratory demand for balloons is returning and even surpassing all previous records.

“Many thanks to all of you who have shared your recent experiences and recommendations! Your comments reemphasized the crucial importance of reestablishing and augmenting your regular business and targeting the huge potential in front of this wonderful world of balloons. And frankly, we acknowledge that this same emphasis resonates with all of us at Pioneer: we need to get our primary manufacturing, marketing, and distribution executions back on track towards meeting and exceeding your everyday needs and expectations. Our commitment to you is that these objectives are driving the current efforts of the entire Pioneer Team. With all of these thoughts in mind, we have discreetly accepted the current status and have decided once again to postpone the next edition of the World Balloon Convention,” noted Qualatex in a recent email.

Qualatex announced that it is building a bridge event to the next WBC by partnering with Stuart Davies, CBA of Big Balloon Build, United Kingdom, called Balloon Wonderland that will be held July 11-15, 2022 at the Hyatt Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida.
