MarketTime unveils retail educational platform, InsideOut

MarketTime, the provider of  B2B omnichannel solutions and sales enablement tools in the gift, home, and toy industries, announced the launch of InsideOut, an interactive community platform that offers access to educational content aggregated from across the retail industry.

“Retailers are the cornerstone of our industry,” said Sydney Pitts, Director of Education and Content, InsideOut at MarketTime. “They have had to quickly adapt and learn to optimize operations and find new ways to reach their customers. Sales Agencies, Brands, and other key stakeholders recognize this and welcome the creation of a free, educational platform for retailers populated by content created by their industries’ stakeholders.”

Sourcing articles and videos from dozens of content creators, including Gift Shop Plus, Stationery Trends and Lawn & Garden Retailer, InsideOut creates a one-stop resource for retailers and other stakeholders to find merchandising tips, product trends, inventory management, technology and more. Focus is also given to everyday challenges including employee retention, staff training, taxes, legal issues and other content to help retailers succeed. InsideOut successfully brings together a comprehensive library of interdisciplinary resources in one free, intuitive, and interactive platform.

“The new InsideOut platform is a quick and easy reference point to research within the specialty retail market,” Angela Schmook, VP of Sales & Marketing for Roadrunners, LLC explained. “Finally, a single resource encompassing the whole industry eco-system – retailers, suppliers, and reps. Inside Out puts all our industry’s best resources in a single location. It’s like a specialty industry search engine!”

Positive Impact

The concept for InsideOut originated with the work of a small think tank comprised of brands, agencies, and industry experts formed by Ari Lowenstein, Executive Vice President, Corporate Development at MarketTime. “At MarketTime, we have directly seen the positive impact of sharing timely information and best practices with fellow stakeholders,” Lowenstein writes, “To further strengthen the foundation of the independent retail industry, we are proud to announce the creation of InsideOut.” To sign-up with InsideOut, visit:
