Home vs Hunger hosts “Party with a Purpose” at High Point Market
Gift for Life’s Home vs Hunger team brings its signature “Party with a Purpose” fundraising event back to Spring High Point Market on April 27 from 4-8 p.m. at the Eichholtz Showroom, 129 S. Hamilton Street, High Point. This event will celebrate King’s Day, a festive celebration of the Netherlands’ royal heritage, while also raising funds for World Central Kitchen’s hunger relief efforts.
The event is sponsored by Eichholtz, the luxury European brand with Dutch roots, making it the perfect occasion to embrace orange — symbolic of both the Netherlands and Hunger Awareness. Party-goers are encouraged to wear orange outfits or accessories as a visible display of support for this worthy cause.
All industry members are invited to attend, and tickets are available for a minimum $20 donation. Notably, 100% of the proceeds benefit World Central Kitchen, an organization dedicated to providing meals to communities impacted by crisis around the world. Pre-purchase tickets at giftforlife.org/donate, or RSVP by emailing [email protected] by April 23.
“We’re proud to support World Central Kitchen, a cause that embodies our shared commitment to feeding those in need and making a positive impact,” said Russ Jones, Gift for Life board member and Home vs Hunger chair. “The Home vs Hunger Party with a Purpose is not only a celebration of King’s Day but also an important reminder that we can all make a difference when we come together for a cause bigger than ourselves.”
This April’s event promises an evening of community and connection, with the ambitious goal of raising $30,000 to support World Central Kitchen. The Home Vs Hunger initiative, which debuted at High Point Market in October 2022, has now raised more than $112,000 through various fundraising activities, including in-person events at High Point Market and online campaigns.
