Designer Greetings, Inc., one of the largest greeting card companies in the U.S., has announced that it has acquired Royal Greetings. A greeting card distributor from Pennsylvania founded 25 years ago, Royal Greetings services hundreds of independent drug stores, card shops and supermarkets in the Northeast.

“In the changing economic climate, distributors are finding an ever-increasing challenge to meet their retailers’ needs in the value sector,” said Steven Gimbelman, president of Designer Greetings. “Our purchase of Royal Greetings was a good fit for our company. In fact, we are always open to, and welcome, inquiries from existing greeting card distributors who may be interested in a similar strategy.”

Designer Greetings, an award-winning greeting card publisher with more than 29 years of experience, is one of the leaders in the social expressions industry.
