Dallas Men’s Show includes more than 700 brands

The summer 2021 Dallas Men’s Show, held at Dallas Market Center, was the largest in the show’s history and included more than 700 brands showcased to buyers from 40 states. The recent show, held July 31 through August 2, welcomed a more than 200% increase in attendance by retailers, 25% of which attended for the first time.

“This is a remarkable achievement and places Dallas among the largest national shows serving buyers from coast to coast,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Retailers were eager to attend a centrally-located, easy-to-work and safe marketplace with everything they need from so many of the top brands in apparel, accessories, western products, and men’s gifts. Working together with our exhibitors we are going to carry this momentum forward into 2022.”

The Dallas Men’s Show welcomes top menswear retailers from coast to coast to shop a curated, expanded array of traditional and contemporary lines in multiple neighborhoods. More than 700 domestic and international brands participated in the trade event, including 143 new exhibitors.

“At this show we’ve been nonstop and I’m buying stuff I didn’t think I was going to buy, seeing the lines I didn’t know were there. So it’s been a great, great time, and I want to add also that we’re taking very, very good care of here,”  Craig DeLongy, owner of John Craig, a multi-location Florida retailer said.

Permanent Showrooms, 7th Floor

The Dallas Men’s Show took place across multiple floors of the World Trade Center. On the 7th floor were Men’s permanent showrooms featuring brands including Barbour, Bugatchi, Hagen, Jack Victor, Tumi, and 7 Diamonds. Select showrooms on the 13th and 15th floors also served menswear buyers including Tommy Bahama, Donald Pliner, and multi-line showrooms such as Scott Harner & Co., which features AG Jeans.

“All I can say is wow,” said John Castorr, owner of The Men’s Portfolio, a permanent showroom. “We had a show that we’ve been waiting for for a long time. We worked with people from all over the country.”

“This show was very strong,” said Hagen Peyser, CEO of Hagen, which opened a new showroom on the 7th floor. “We had a ton of appointments, a lot of people walking around. I think the excitement is in the air. And there’s a lot of great positive energy.”
