Dallas Market Center offers new, expanded and relocated showrooms

Dallas Market Center, an open-daily interior design destination in the country, announced 13 showrooms that are new, expanding and relocating to meet the needs of the design community as well as the needs of retailers attending the upcoming Total Home & Gift Market, Jan. 6-12.

Opening new space within the 1.5-million-square foot neighborhood of home décor showrooms are debuting brands and legendary names that will be open each week to meet the design needs of buyers on their schedule. The daily design business at Dallas Market Center welcomes thousands of buyers each month and was among the quickest to rebound to the previous year’s traffic. Meanwhile, the number of new buyers, including interior designers, qualifying for admission to Dallas Market Center continues to grow.

“Our open-daily design business is flourishing as the design community across the Southwest takes on many new projects,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “That’s why we continue to add new resources, especially companies with distinctive products and quality designs. We welcome these new additions who join our vibrant marketplace.”

Highlights

Todd Smith and Charlie Groppetti, the visionaries behind the farmhouse interiors look, are debuting a new showroom called Porch View (WTC 280). The brand offers home furnishings and accessories in a relaxed, casual aesthetic.

Buyers can intricately customize upholstered furnishings at the expanding Pasha Furniture (IHDC 1D421) to make them an ideal fit for projects. The limitless options—from finishes, cushions, legs, and hardware to hundreds of fabric selections—enable the creation of truly unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

For 58 years, Regency International (WTC 268) has supplied retailers, garden centers, florists, and designers with home décor, accessories, and gifts. Now, the company is expanding to offer even more finds from their expansive holiday collections—including Christmas and Easter—home and garden goods, and realistic faux flowers and foliage.

When Dallas-based custom electronics integrator HomeTronics (WTC 10085.11) opened at Dallas Market Center in 2019, it was the first smart home showroom in North America, uniting advanced technology from Europe, Asia, and the U.S. HomeTronics is now expanding to a larger space to house its innovative lines including Samsung. High-tech options abound for residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

Lighting, décor, vanities, and mirrors in a range of styles can be found at Elegant Furniture & Lighting (WTC 10080). Since its inception in 2000, the Philadelphia-based company has been known for its careful attention to detail, craftsmanship, and options that fit spaces from transitional to urban chic.

Safety

Supporting the comfort, health and safety of all attendees, the market center continues measures that include mandatory face covering and temperature screening for every person entering the marketplace every day. Other efforts include enhanced cleaning with hospital grade products, hundreds of hand sanitizing stations, limited food service, no gatherings, and signage for social distancing. Along with these new steps, there are safety measures that are part of the design of the marketplace: open parking, large entryways, quick registration in multiple areas, wide hallways, multiple escalators, and showrooms with controlled access to allow for the appropriate distance between customers.

Dallas Market Center also hosts trade events and specialized design events throughout the year attracting thousands of members of the design community. Dallas is first in January with Total Home & Gift Market taking place Jan. 6-12 and Temps Jan. 6-9; Lightovation takes place Jan. 7-10.
