The best cards are the kind you want to keep
…And by “keep,” we don’t mean inside that old shoebox under your bed.
(Sponsored) “Our goal at Willow & Ivy Press™ is to create cards that you want to keep long after you receive them,” said Ashley Akin, Head of Business Development. “We want to keep people close and connected in a fun and beautiful way.”
Willow & Ivy Press™ is a new direction for greeting cards backed by Leanin’ Tree’s 76-year history in the industry. Akin joined the Willow & Ivy team to develop the brand and build the strategy behind the vision and growth.
“When the opportunity presented itself to build and launch a new brand from the ground up, I was thrilled to join. Our close-knit team of writers, designers and mentors were thoughtful in the creation of our cards, careful to infuse each design with the care and passion our connections deserve,” she added.
For the team of women writers and designers, it was important to craft greeting cards that are as stylish as they are relatable. Creating a contemporary offering with a range of fun and elegant designs was an essential part of the brand’s mission to support connections with friends and family.
The result is a collection of playful and polished greetings. The boutique-sized cards, printed on heavy paper stock, die-cut and finished with foil and glitter shine every time you give and receive them. Every Willow & Ivy greeting card arrives with an elegant, champagne gold pearlized envelope that delivers a timeless look and touch. Made in the USA, all greeting cards are printed, finished, and fulfilled in Colorado.
The line launched in June 2024, with 134 cards for Everyday occasions along with cards for Fall and Holiday seasons. A Fall Catalog in September added 22 new designs for Everyday and launched 36 designs for Spring Seasons, including Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Graduation. With strong sales and positive feedback from retailers, more new designs and products are expected to launch in June and again in the Fall.
“It’s exciting and fun to see Willow & Ivy Press cards in stores, being shared in the world! It’s rewarding to see our vision and efforts come to fruition in this beautiful collection, but also to know that our cards inspire staying connected to friends and family,” Akin adds. “As we grow the brand, we’re keenly focused on staying true to our mission — Our favorite cards are the ones that stand out in our eyes and in our hearts. The cards we love the most are the kind that make us stop and think of those who are closest to us.”
