Inside Atlanta Market
A guide to stationery, trends and must-visit stops
(Sponsored) If you’re considering a visit to Atlanta Market, let Jen Geschke, owner of J.A. Whitney in Town & Country, Missouri, guide the way. Her boutique features a unique curation of distinctive gifts including stationery, accessories and more. Highlighting her top priorities for the Summer market, Gescheke reveals her current bestseller and discusses her must-visit stops at Atlanta Market. Plus, she offers essential tips for first-time attendees.
Current Bestseller: Currently, our bestseller is enewton jewelry. The timeless style appeals to all ages and our customers love the line for gift-giving or adding to their collection.
Top Priority at Market: Our top priority is always looking for new vendors and new products from our existing vendors. It’s important to keep the shop looking fresh to offer new finds and surprises for our loyal, repeat customers.
Favorite Stationery Finds: We carry some amazing stationary lines with Rosanne Beck Collections and WH Hostess being our top picks. Both lines are women-owned and each recently opened gorgeous new showrooms in Atlanta. Rosanne Beck Collections offers a large selection of vibrantly colored designs and WH Hostess has a classic, preppy look. These lines always complement the various products we carry and often influence our color schemes and themes.
Favorite Temporary Floor: Our favorite temporary floor is High Design (Building 2, Floor 1). We have found so many great artists and unique vendors there over the years.
Favorite Showroom: We love Schauben & Co. on Floor 11 in Building 2. They have so many of our favorite vendors and we end up spending several hours on that floor alone!
Most Inspiring Displays: We love Glitterville for the elaborate, whimsical displays. We have been able to get ideas and source our own window displays many times from Glitterville.
Go-to Meal on Campus: To break up a long market day, we like to pop into Ray’s In The City for a quick soup and salad. It allows us some quiet time to regroup and review our market agenda. If we are pressed for time, we usually grab a quick bite from Chick-fil-A.
Favorite Atlanta Restaurant: We love St. Cecilia in Buckhead. It is always a great meal and such a fun, lively atmosphere.
Favorite Place to Stay: Our favorite place to stay is The Ritz-Carlton for its convenient location and boutique feel.
Top Tip for First-Time Market Attendees: Our top tip is to do some prep work prior to market and have a game plan for how to best use your time. Also, if you are going to make appointments with reps and showrooms, we have found it is helpful to spend one day completely dedicated to appointments. That frees up the rest of your market days to spend time exploring and finding new vendors.
