Pantone has named Cloud Dancer its color of 2026 — and has even accessorized it with lighter-than-air pastels: Ice Melt, Lemon Icing and Raindrops on Roses. But these are not your grandmother’s saccharine hues: My favorite presentations exhibit a sense of movement and airiness, usually borrowed from Mother Nature. Think of the delicate fluttering of a butterfly’s wings, petals gently undulating in a crisp wind, or in the case of Art Angels, a specular seatime vista forever captured in a stationery bottle!
