NY NOW Summer 2026: Paper in Bloom

Greetings from the new NY NOW! While this market has recently been reimagined, some things never change. This nerd always swoons for its sensational stationery mix, and this year’s carpeted aisles were no different. Here’s just a few fave finds!
After experiencing success in the DTC space, ArdorU made its wholesale trade show debut, accessorized with its trademark orange envelopes of course.

Love Lyss Creative’s watercolor offerings included patterned place cards, an easy add-on whose time has thankfully returned.

It’s not hard to see why Erin Dayhaw has snarked her way to the tippy top of the sticker category.

Happy Little Paper Co. literally adds spice (and possibly hunger?) to any merchandise mix. Condiments sold separately!

Stamps are one of my favorite current design trends — but those from Illustrating Amy stand out from the pack.

Kyn You Believe It is really self-care in sticker form.

If you are not familiar with loop stamps, many of your customers probably are, and may already be hoarding them! I saw them throughout both markets; these are from Matoka.

Mother’s Tongue was my most distinctive brand discovery — these freewheeling offerings certainly look different, and also have something different to say! Fresh voices often feel like a big risk for indies, but my gut says this Atlanta house of paper is one to closely watch.

Japanese stationery, like these sweet stamp stickers from NB CO. LTD., abounded across markets.

Even if you don’t like cats (really?) feline offerings from Owlfeathers Watercolor were a sight to see!

If it is celebrity and pop culture portraiture with a sense of humor and irony that you seek, look no further than Sammy Gorin.

For the small yet often under-represented Jewish market, clever insider jokes like this from Stacey O’Nary always land.

The Tiny Kikimo Story Box actually came to exquisite life via an incredibly successful Kickstarter!
