NY NOW announces new collaboration with tabletop, houseware brands
NY NOW announced a new collaboration with tabletop and houseware brands located at 41 Madison Avenue, home of the leading trade group representing the dinnerware, flatware, glassware, hotelware, lighting, luxury gift and housewares industries. The new collaboration is launching with a special installation next week at the NY NOW 2025 Summer Market B2B tradeshow taking place Aug. 3-5 at NYC’s Javits Center. This latest news comes in addition to the event’s current and long running partnerships with other key brands and association groups such as Fair Trade, the Museum Store Association, the Gift and Home Trade Association, Oprah Daily, the NellyRodi Trend Agency, and many others.
“While NY NOW has always had a long running relationship and history of collaboration with brands at 41 Madison, we are excited to take that connection a step further by partnering with select tabletop and housewares brands in a special showcase installation.” said Matthew Mathiasen, show director of NY NOW. “This initiative not only celebrates the strength and creativity of the New York gift and home community but also represents an important step toward deepening this partnership with The Tabletop Association for future shows. We look forward to much more that will be happening in the coming months with this new partnership, so stay tuned.”
Additional NY NOW association and industry partners
Oprah Daily creates their “Editor’s Choice” each season at NY NOW, selecting products from NY NOW brands to be displayed on-site for current collections. Forecasting and expert strategic consulting agency for creative industries, NellyRodi, provides future season trend reports in connection with brands that submit products to be displayed in the NY NOW Trend Gallery to match macro trends of the upcoming season.
Education and advocacy partners that help exhibiting brands promote and grow their businesses include the Fair Trade Federation, Museum Store Association, Greeting Card Association, Gift & Home Trade Association, Accessories Council, and the International Furnishings and Design Association. Community program partners include Gift for Life and World Central Kitchen. This year, the Gift for Life/NY NOW AIDS Walk Team has already raised funds for local HIV/AIDS service organizations in New York City and continues to do so. At next week’s event, NY NOW will amplify its partnership with Gift for Life by promoting awareness and fundraising for World Central Kitchen to provide hot, nutritious meals to communities impacted by crisis and conflict worldwide.
“Our industry and community partnerships are vitally important in helping NY NOW not only be the go-to destination for making wholesale supply connections across the home, gift and accessories segments, but also deepening relationships that continue 365 days a year outside of our twice-per-year event schedules,” Mathiasen said. “Collectively, our valued partners have helped us create much more than a trade show. NY NOW truly is a diverse, collaborative, and thriving community and marketplace. In doing so we are providing the connections that are helping to foster mutual success among suppliers and retailers, while at the same time supporting worthy causes both locally and globally.”
