Jean Cate is an artist and online shopkeeper. After receiving her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, she opened a brick & mortar shop named after her beloved dog and muse Martha in 2016. The shop specializes in art, art supplies and beautiful useful things transitioning all online last fall. A lover and celebrator of beautiful tools and objects, she enjoys creating connection and community around art, stationery, and creative supplies.
