Spring Fair 2023 officially a wrap

Spring Fair & Moda, a UK-based home, gift and fashion buying showcase, took place Feb. 5-8 at NEC Birmingham.

According to the organization, thousands of independents retailers, online stores, multiples, department stores, lifestyle boutiques, garden centers, pharmacies, florists, museums, destination stores, convenience stores, supermarkets and more visited during the four-day show.

The show featured 14 product sectors across eight halls, including Beauty & Wellbeing, Gift, Greetings & Stationery, Kids, Toys & Play, Party & Celebrations, Christmas, Floral & Seasonal Decorations, Home, Living & Décor, Housewares, The Summerhouse and Everyday.

Meanwhile, Moda featured sectors Womenswear, Fashion Accessories, Jewelry & Watch and Footwear.

Buyers were able to attend the New Product and Sustainability Showcases in Hall 4 for a curated edit of the newest and most sustainable product launches. Meanwhile, in Hall 5, expert judges from the industry converged to make their top selections from the 2023 Gift of the Year display by the Giftware Association.

In a brand-new collaboration with the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) to support the next generation of jewelry designers, Moda’s New Jewels Bursary sponsored by Curteis Creates announced its winner at an awards ceremony on the Moda Stage this afternoon. The Bursary was awarded to Liz Crow, who will receive one-to-one mentoring sessions with several industry experts.

The show also featured the Inspiring Retail Stage, a lineup of 40 speakers who shared market intelligence, insights and valuable industry information designed to provide buyers with the opportunity to increase their knowledge, understand critical market trends and connect with industry leaders.
