Shoppe Object gears up for its market week
Shoppe Object, a New York semiannual independent home and gift show, gears up for its market week for home and gift. Shoppe Object runs Aug, 9-12, 2019.
Shoppe Object began with the idea of creating a new and creative boutique setting with a curated selection of makers and brands, and was founded to offer networking, idea collaboration and inspiration to the retail and design community. With a curated roster of well-established brands and makers, Shoppe Object offers resources for merchants.
This year, the summer market will be located at its new home at Pier 36 on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. This larger venue offers 20-foot ceilings adjacent to the East River Promenade and offers attendees an expanded exhibit space, all on one floor.
“We are beyond thrilled by this opportunity to come into our own in the heart of one of New York’s most progressive and vibrant corners, with stunning views of our beloved bridges, and the new wave of noteworthy hotels, celebrated restaurants, and chic design shops nearby,” said Minya Quirk, co-founder of Shoppe Object.
“In just one year, Shoppe Object has quadrupled in size, and this weekend, we will present more than 450 of the best brands in home and gift. Ceramics, tabletop, textiles, jewelry, candles, beauty and fragrance, stationery, kids, gourmet and every imaginable gift one could ever want to give or receive will be there,” said Quirk.
Design superstars like MoMA, Chilewich, Hawkins New York, Tina Frey and HAY will all be on hand beside the most exciting independent brands at the forefront of lifestyle and design.
