SF Market Kicks off 2016 show season

As the first show of the winter 2016 buying season, SF Market (formerly the San Francisco International Gift Fair), will bring a versatile product selection built around the Northern California lifestyle to Moscone Center’s North Hall from Jan. 8-11, 2016. From new pairings and outdoor living spotlights to California-based companies, local artisans, classic best sellers and sophisticated styles, retailers from the western region and nation will find fresh new resources that reflect the interests and lifestyles of their customers.

“SF Market is a destination for regional and national retailers seeking innovative, upscale designs with a northern California accent,” said Dirk von Gal, industry vice president of gift, Urban Expositions. “The January market has been rebranded to better communicate the scope and depth of product categories that cater to the Northern California lifestyle and passion for living well. We’ve redefined the show’s selection with new spotlights including ‘Pairings’ and ‘Outdoor Living’ that truly respond to the region’s defining characteristics to reflect how the San Francisco market is evolving and growing.”
Show highlights include:

New ExpressPass registration – To make attendee registration and entry as easy as possible, while also ensuring the wholesale integrity of the event, SF Market is offering ExpressPass registration. Rather than receiving a badge in advance by mail, retailers can receive an ExpressPass via email to scan with onsite readers and quickly print out badge(s) when they arrive at the show. To pre-register for SF Market and receive the ExpressPass, retailers can visit www.sf-market.com to complete the online registration process.

Expanded selection of outdoor living products – SF Market will spotlight outdoor living products that complement the show’s existing selection of home and garden offerings, including outdoor accessories, casual furniture, seasonal products and more.

Pairings – SF Market has always been a resource for wine-related products – ranging from bar accessories and stemware to apparel and more. The new Pairings showcase will spotlight regional food, wine and craft beer resources and a range of gourmet specialties and accessories. This new product spotlight is perfect for wineries, gift, gourmet shops seeking ways to see the newest designs and add a local level of sophistication to their store.

SF Market Social – Shop and socialize! Show attendees can enjoy complimentary refreshments on the show floor from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016.
