Paperworld China 2025 connects consumers, buyers and exhibitors under one roof

Paperworld China — a platform for stationery, office supplies, arts and crafts, and trendy products — will return Nov. 21-23  at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.

With its unique dual B2B and B2C model, the fair creates opportunities for professional buyers and end-users to connect with exhibitors, aiming to foster collaboration and drive product innovation to expand regional market potential. To enhance its engagement efforts, Paperworld China is introducing SODAS, a pop-up event scheduled for June 14-15  at Super Brand Mall, Shanghai.

SODAS draws inspiration from the refreshing, energising nature of carbonated soft drinks – essential companions to summer. It infuses creativity and vitality into the stationery and lifestyle sector, creating an immersive environment for manufacturers and suppliers to showcase new products, interact directly with consumers, and gather valuable market insights ahead of the November fair. These initiatives reflect Paperworld China’s commitment to support exhibitors and facilitate meaningful connections in the industry.

Paperworld China continues to serve as a key platform for businesses to connect with professional buyers and consumers, providing exhibitors a unique opportunity to expand their market presence and strengthen their networks,” said Ms Judy Cheung, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. “The addition of SODAS brings a dynamic element to the fair, enabling companies targeting end-users to test new ideas, engage with audiences in a vibrant retail setting, and refine their offerings for the main event. This ensures they are well-prepared to meet the needs of both trade and consumer markets.”

According to the company, the global stationery market is poised for significant growth, with a projected Compound Annual Growth Rate of 5.3% from 2025 to 2035, reaching USD 271.9 billion. This expansion is fueled by rising demand for premium products in the education and corporate sectors, alongside a growing interest in creative hobbies like journaling and scrapbooking. Buyers and consumers are increasingly seeking sustainable options, such as refillable pens, biodegradable materials and recycled notebooks, as well as tech-driven products like reusable notebooks and digital pens. Paperworld China and SODAS aim to provide essential platforms for businesses to showcase these advancements, connect with key audiences, and align with emerging market trends.

As part of this vision, SODAS will introduce a fresh, immersive experience for stationery enthusiasts, featuring five distinct interactive zones designed to inspire creativity and consumer engagement:

  • The Lab: Product demonstrations and brand storytelling take center stage, presenting names including Chinjoo, Comix, Deli, Guangbo, KW-trio, M&G, and Snowhite, as well as emerging players such as Gifted Minds, Groove Notes, JINSAN, Lazzy Cat, MR.MAT, PoemsForYou and Paperlive.
  • Twenty Pro: An international pavilion showcases premium stationery brands from around the world. Visitors can explore high-quality designs and discover the latest trends in luxury stationery.
  • The Mart: A curated marketplace features over 170 stalls showcasing designer stickers, masking tapes, stamps, notebooks and more. Catering to collectors and trendsetters, this lively space is a hub for discovering one-of-a-kind stationery.
  • GOODS: Tailored for anime, comic and gaming (ACG) enthusiasts, this area celebrates pop culture through exclusive merchandise and limited-edition collectibles. Fans can immerse themselves in a world of beloved characters and discover how creativity fuels the design of these unique items.
  • MooFish Corner: A playful and hands-on retreat offers engaging activities such as collectible stamp checkpoints, and exclusive giveaways. This space blends relaxation with artistic exploration, making it a favorite for visitors of all ages, the company said.

In November, Twenty Pro, The Mart, and GOODS will return as key highlights of Paperworld China, offering an expanded selection of premium global brands, curated products, and pop culture merchandise. These zones will complement the fair’s broader focus on trade and consumer engagement, ensuring a diverse and enriching experience for all attendees.

Admission to the SODAS requires a ticket. Visitors can follow the official WeChat account (ID: paperworldchina) for ticketing details and updates.
