Paperworld 2020 presents its new Office Village

Paperworld, an international trade fair that presents the latest products and trends in the paper, office supplies, and stationery sector every year in Frankfurt am Main, offers a new concept, Office Village, for 2020. This year’s show will be held from Jan. 25-28, 2020.

Last year, 1,665 exhibitors from 64 countries presented their products to 32,340 trade visitors from 143 countries. Paperworld is a source of innovative business ideas for wholesalers, retailers and booksellers. This annual show also provides inspiration and educational opportunities for retailers, architects, planners, facility managers, and heads of educational and seminar facilities who are interested in the latest office trends and interior design concepts.

The Office Village area will contain exhibitor booths in Hall 3.0 and will offer an information point, lounges, and meeting rooms for networking as well as a catering area. “We created this concept to provide manufacturers with an attractive presentation platform at the heart of the Paperworld office area. What makes the Paperworld Office Village so special are the fully equipped booths. This service makes participation even more convenient for the exhibitor,” said Michael Reichhold, director Paperworld.

In 2020, the special presentation of Future Office is dedicated to the topic of Smart Solutions. At Paperworld everything in Hall 3.0 will revolve around the workplace of tomorrow. When it comes to tomorrow’s world of work, digital transformation is the key term. New forms of office work have already emerged through networking, interaction, and automation, such as remote work or co-working spaces.

How will this evolve in future and what does this mean for the world of paper, office supplies and stationery products? These and other questions will be answered by experts at the Future Office. At booth C51 in hall 3.0, the focus will be partly on digital tools, but far more on holistic approaches: “In the innovation area, we will present how traditional tools can be combined with digital elements to solve challenges in a smart way. In a series of lectures, product presentations, and with the help of best-practice examples, we will transport the future of the office world onto the physical stage in Frankfurt,” said Reichhold.

Future Office Area

The Future Office area is the brainchild of renowned architect André Schmidt of Matter Architectural Office in Berlin, and combines lecture, exhibition and meeting zones.

Information sessions will be available along with several exhibitors that will present their product innovations and ideas for Smart Solutions in the area. “Instead of the classic conference room, several smaller flexible rooms will be available, including visually separated meeting spaces and smart areas that can also be used spontaneously for an informal meeting,” said Dennis Kopaß, senior marketing manager at Legamaster.
