Papersalt launches sister brand for expanded giftware

Papersalt will debut its sister brand, Salty, in January 2024.

The new line includes more traditional gift categories, expanding the company’s offerings beyond Papersalt’s current books and stationery. The collection features bold, on-trend designs, lighthearted and often “salty” content, and a focus on better margins for retailers, according to the company.

“We’ve always focused on trend but never wanted to launch products that look like everyone else’s,” said Annie McCall of Papersalt. “After the successful launch of our cocktail-themed Pop Life! collection last year, talks began for where to expand. Like any brand, we rely on customer input — hearing what’s selling in-store and how that lines up with trend. Our retailers have repeatedly asked us for the products Salty has, and we’re finally delivering.”

Initial products include stainless steel pint glasses, drink koozies, coasters, kitchen/tea towels, canvas tote bags, notepads, sticky notes, and motel key chains.

The collection will be available at January Markets, with exclusive promos available for pre-booked appointments in their Atlanta showroom.

Founded in 2012, Papersalt set out to create inspiring and educational content for kids and families. Since then, the company has evolved into a stationery and gift line that continues with the similar goals: making unique gifts that inspire, spread kindness, and evoke laughter along the way.
