*Noted: A Virtual Event goes live May 1

The *Noted: the Greeting Card Expo San Francisco may have been canceled, but it is hosting a celebratory virtual event on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 12 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.  called *Noted: A Virtual Event. This event requires advance registration.

The event will begin with *Noted’s Pitch Program. This program is open to only retail and sales representatives and participating publishers. During the Pitch Program, selected makers will present their lines and participate in a question and answer session from a panel, which includes: Daniel Richards, Daisy’s Mercantile, Paper Source, Paper E Clips and Urbanic Paper.

Noted@*Noted will begin after the Pitch Program at 1 p.m. when Sarah Schwartz of the Paper Chronicles, will lead the panel of judges who will announce the finalists and award-winning greeting cards in nine categories.

The event will conclude with a discussion about A Changed World, Now and the Future, where industry representatives will talk about how they have adapted to the changes in the past month and how they are preparing for the future. A retailers perspective will be addressed by Paper Source and Awesome Brooklyn and Dan Collier with the Daniel Richards Group and Sue Charlier from JS McCarthy will provide views on the various companies that support the industry. Participants have the opportunity to submit questions, comments and ideas for the panel to discuss.
