Lynn White Named National Stationery Show Manager

Lynn White, a 30-year trade show industry veteran, has been named Show Manager of the National Stationery Show (NSS), North America’s leading source for greeting cards, social stationery and related lifestyle products. Patti Stracher – recently appointed Executive Vice President of the Greeting Card Association – will assume the role of NSS General Manager, providing strategic and creative direction for the show that she has led for 18 years.

“Patti’s vast industry knowledge and long-standing history with the NSS, combined with Lynn’s strong trade show management background, is a powerful combination of expertise and experience that will drive the NSS forward in 2012 and beyond,” said Charles McCurdy, GLM CEO. “We congratulate them on their new appointments, and look forward to what the future brings under their leadership.”

White’s three decades of trade show management – all of which have been with GLM -have included management of the Boston Gift Show, the Washington Gift Show, the San Francisco International Gift Fair, as well as positions with the Dallas International Gift and Home Accessories Market and the New York International Gift Fair. She is also currently Show Manager of the International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show and Boutique Design New York, held annually in November.

As General Manager, Stracher will continue to drive strategic and creative marketing initiatives for the National Stationery Show, while reinforcing synergies and creating new opportunities between the NSS and the Greeting Card Association.

In addition, Kelly Bristol’s responsibilities as the National Stationery Show Sales Manager have been expanded to include management of key accounts. With GLM and the NSS for nearly 13 years, Bristol’s experience will help position major stationery and related lifestyle product companies for success in the marketplace.

The 66th annual National Stationery Show, the comprehensive source for greeting cards, social stationery and related lifestyle products, will run Sunday, May 20, through Wednesday, May 23, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The Show features nearly 900 exhibiting companies and attracts some 11,000 buyers worldwide. The Show also presents educational programming, product demonstrations, industry events, roundtable discussions and networking opportunities throughout the market week.
