LA Mart opens one week earlier in 2020
LA Mart is opening on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, one week earlier than in the past. LA Mart is the first market in the west, which will introduce the winter gift and home buying season before the other shows. The market moved its dates one week earlier to contend with Atlanta’s market date change, which is directly on top of LA Mart’s traditional third week opening in January.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to be the first market for buyers to see the newest products available in 2020,” mentioned Victoria Harding, marketing and show producer for LA Mart. “Los Angeles has always been known for presenting the most unique and cutting edge artisan lines well before any other show, and now the LA Mart will be the first to market with the newest products from the national brands too. This is a winning opportunity for our buyers who want to be first to shop new products before they arrive later at the other markets around the country.”
LA Mart offers over 150 permanent showrooms representing thousands of well-known wholesale brands as well as contributing an enormous selection of products made locally in California that beautifully showcase the lifestyle that is unique to the Golden State. Southern California is well known for some of the most unique artists anywhere and that is reflected throughout hundreds of product lines shown at the LA Mart.
In addition to permanent showrooms, LA Mart Temporaries showcase rich, beautiful selections, many of which can’t be found in any of the other markets. The LA Mart’s new state of the art exhibition hall will feature both order writing and immediate delivery lines where buyers will enjoy shopping every gift and home category available while enjoying the surroundings of a pleasing, clean, easy to work setting.
LA Mart and the Museum Store Association will once again partner with special showroom offerings, a champagne reception, museum store field trip and a front and center MSA Gallery in LA Mart Temps. “We love the partnership with MSA,” stated Frank Joens, senior vice president, general manager of LA Mart. “We have an incredible amount of museums in southern California and they are very loyal to the LA Mart. We are very pleased to enhance their shopping experience with this partnership and all of the museum store perks that come with it!”
LA Mart offers free amenities, such as: parking, shuttle service, daily happy hours, a business center and Wi-Fi. Additionally, everyone is invited to attend the traditional Friday evening market party reflecting the Market’s theme of 20/20 Vision- A Look To The Future. Attendees will enjoy a light dinner, cocktails, a live band and dancing galore. As always this is a must attend event that is consistently very well received.
