IMC hires new chief technology officer

International Market Centers (IMC) has hired Shannon Knox, a former vice president technology for Hilton Worldwide, as its new executive vice president, chief technology officer. Beginning June 3, he will be responsible for IMC’s overall strategy, architecture, delivery and use of technology and IT infrastructure.

“With technology’s increasing importance to our business, we are making significant investments in digital development and are elevating our technology leadership,” said Robert Maricich, chairman and CEO for IMC. “Shannon has valuable experience in the successful implementation of enterprise architecture designed to reduce friction – internally and externally – across data-rich businesses with considerable scale and velocity.”

Knox will support a significant investment in state-of-the-art systems and enterprise architecture designed not only to provide a seamless customer experience across all IMC markets but also to maximize data integrity and analytics. These systems will integrate with and enhance digital platform development to extend and amplify market value for IMC customers 365 days a year.

“I’m delighted to join IMC and to partner with the company’s senior leaders to effectively deploy technology to drive value and growth for our customers,” said Knox. “IMC has a history of relentless focus on creating value for buyers and sellers, and I am excited to help expand that value creation into the digital space.”
