DMC prepares for Dallas Design Days this April
Dallas Market Center is preparing for the Dallas Design Days, April 25-26, 2022, and has announced the schedule of events that are on tap for this year’s edition.
The spring edition will feature more than 20 showrooms events and promotions for the design community taking place across more than 1.5 million square feet of design showrooms.
Participating for the first time will be numerous lighting showrooms on the Trade Mart 3rd and 4th floor, hosting open house events and seminars. Normally open only for the twice annual Lightovation trade events, these showrooms are eager to present their latest collections to the design community. Open showrooms will include Hudson Valley Lighting, Savant, Eurofase, Z-Lite, Modern Forms, WAC, Hubbardton Forge, Sonneman, Varaluz, ELK Home/Lighting, and Elegant Lighting.
The centerpiece event of Design Days is Dine + Design presented by Benjamin Moore and Luxe Interiors and Design, a lunch event taking place on Tuesday, April 26. Registration for Dine + Design is available at https://dallasmarketcenter.com/dine-design/registration.

Marketplace Additions
Recent home and design additions to the marketplace include The Container Store Custom Closets, Norwalk Furniture, German artist Peter Robert Keil, and American-made J. Wilkinson Chair Company in the expanded The Gallery, IHDC 1D202. They join fellow exhibitors in The Gallery who opened in January: fine bed linens by Ann Gish (IHDC GL16), drapery by Creative Threads (IHDC GL76), and original artwork by Timothy Poe Studio (IHDC GLW3).
Allaf Oriental Rugs (WTC 521-C, 550) has expanded and El Paso Import Company (WTC 521) has relocated. Artists Guild of America(WTC 6470) was new in January but is already expanding and relocating to a larger space on the sixth floor of the WTC. In January we also welcomed Novart (WTC 6650) to the sixth floor. The company offers contemporary furniture from Mexico via its San Antonio, Texas, headquarters. Artist Todd Morgenstern relocated his original artwork to his namesake gallery on the fifth floor (WTC 571), and K&K Interiors (WTC 237) expanded and redesigned the entire showroom space.
