Dallas Men’s Show welcomes large number of buyers

The Dallas Men’s Show welcomed buyers from coast to coast this July. Dallas Market Center announced that the trade event for menswear retailers, held July 30-Aug. 1, 2022, broke records for the number of brands participating and the number of new buyers.

Retail decision makers from 30 states visited the show, including a sharp increase in new buyers. More than 10% of buyers were first-time attendees.

The show featured more than 750 brands with a curated, expanded display of classic and contemporary apparel, accessories, and footwear.

“We appreciate the support of so many retailers who visited our expanded show,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “The 2022 Men’s Shows truly set a new standard in Dallas and elevated the quality and diversity of products available here. We have tremendous momentum going into 2023.”

“We had an amazing show! We had a great variety of retailers and opened many new accounts as well.  We continue to expand our account base by attending the Dallas Show,” John Faul of American Needle commented.

The show uniquely combined access to permanent showrooms as well as temporary booths. On the 7th floor, permanent showrooms included Fish Hippie, GenTeal, Leathergoods, Southern Marsh, Torino Belts and Leather Goods, and True Grit. In temporary space on the 12th floor were 165 booths featuring exhibitors like Brooks Brothers, Bugatchi, Digel, Le Chameau, Lief Horsen, &Lore Outdoor, Robert Barakett, Stone Rose, Tiger of Sweden, and Tiki Napoli.

Additional exhibitors were Clint Orms, Hooey Denim, and Scully on the 14th floor; and AG Jeans, Johnnie-O, Mitchell & Ness, and Vuori on the 15th floor.

On Saturday evening, the Men’s Show Party took place in a new location on the first floor. Pinball machines, an open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, a DJ, and a magician entertained the crowd.

The next Dallas Men’s Show takes place Jan. 28-30, 2023. For more information, visit dallasmarketcenter.com.
