Burton + BURTON will host Ballooniversity, an event that is held every five years, in Athens, Georgia, Aug. 10–13, 2022. This event provides participants an opportunity to learn from the best in the industry and network with people from the balloon, floral, and gift industries.

This event provides two days of hands-on training and balloon building, which is followed by two additional days of classes with more hands-on instruction. The centerpiece creation that will be crafted in the workshop will be showcased at the Saturday Gala and will focus on the theme: The Future is Ours, a celebration of space and exploration.

Decorator’s Workshop |Aug. 10-11

This hands-on workshop is lead from top instructors from around the world. Participants will create larger-than-life balloon décor to be used as the centerpiece of the Saturday Night Gala.

Ballooniversity Classes |Aug. 12-13

The classes are geared towards the balloon newbie or seasoned professionals that want to expand upon existing skills. Classes will instruct participants in timeless décor, twisting, deco-twisting, floral design, and more.
