Stationery Trends has announced the start of the second annual Trendys Awards. The Trendys recognize the best in stationery — through the eyes of the industry.

A new “holiday” category has been added, and there are now six awards, one in each of the following categories: Baby, Bridal, Green, Greeting Cards, Holiday and Office. Manufacturers and designers are invited to submit entries in as many of the categories as they wish. Entries are due by Feb. 11. Via e-mail blasts, marketing in Stationery Trends and through social networking sites, all involved in the industry will be invited to vote on each of the entries, starting at the beginning of March. There will be two rounds of voting, one to determine the finalists, with another following to determine the winners. The top 10 finalists in each category will be on display at the Stationery Trends booth during the National Stationery Show and will receive editorial recognition in an issue of Stationery Trends magazine. Overall category winners also will receive an award to display.
