Tell us about your business.

Cafe Notes + Company is a greeting card shop filled with hand painted, then digitized and printed, watercolor cards that range from sweet to snarky!

Describe how you transitioned operations during the onset of the pandemic.

Because I was only online to begin with, I thankfully did not have to alter much of my process in the beginning. However, now having two kids home full time and the wonderful printing company I use having to shut down down has forced me to focus on my inventory on hand.

What special services are you currently offering clients?

Right now I’m offering free shipping on all orders over $5 and I always toss in freebies as a hopeful pick-me-up when they get their package in the mail.

Have you implemented any grab-and-go solutions, or special offerings?

I am in the process of organizing a package of cards to my grandfather’s memory care home in Wisconsin and I would love to be able to do this with more elderly care communities. Some homes, however, are not even allowing mail which is sad, but understandable for the safety of their residents and staff.
