Road Runners expands into Mid-Atlantic territory

Road Runners, a sales agency in the gift and home industry, began in operating in two states in 2000, but now represents gift and home lines in more than 30 states. Its latest expansion includes the company’s venture into the Mid-Atlantic states: Virginia, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Along with its recent partnership with some substantial lines, like Primitives by Kathy and One Hundred 80 Degrees, Road Runners has divisionalized the majority of its southeast states to ensure the success of its sales reps and retailers. The southeast states include: North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Kentucky.

“Our southeast showroom has been growing steadily each year. With the addition of new lines, divisionalizing is the next logical step,” said RaeLee Walton, director of southeast sales and line acquisition at Road Runners.

Road Runners continues increasing its representation throughout the United States and is always seeking brand partners to join its portfolio. Road Runners currently specializes in gift, home décor, fashion, jewelry, paper, publishers, personal care, gourmet, and toy categories. It represents a variety of popular companies, including Boston International, Hydra Aromatherapy, Savannah Bee Company, Splendid Iris Jewelry, Shannon Martin Design, Primitives by Kathy and One Hundred 80 Degrees. The company is now accepting applications for both independent sales representatives and new brand partners.

“We want to make sure we continue to deliver our best to both our customers and our vendors, and adding a second division, driven by our talented and successful Road Runners sales team, will ensure we do just that,” added Angela Schmook, vice president of sales at marketing at Road Runners.

Road Runners has permanent showrooms inside of the Dallas Market Center and AmericasMart Atlanta. For more information about Road Runners,  visit roadrunnersllc.com.
