NY NOW and GCA offer exclusive opportunity

NY NOW, a wholesale market for retailers and specialty buyers seeking diversity and discovery, announced the latest initiative in its ongoing partnership with the Greeting Card Association (GCA) ahead of the upcoming NY NOW Summer Market, Aug. 8-11, 2021 at the Javits Center in New York City.

GCA members will have an exclusive opportunity to participate in the reimagined GCA Village and connect with NY NOW’s audience of qualified retailers both in-person and digitally via NY NOW’s groundbreaking integrated offering.

“Finding ways to help our members reach buyers is more important now than ever,” says Nora Weiser, executive director for GCA. “We are excited to partner with NY NOW to offer an accessible, affordable, well-located GCA Village where our members can shine and where their cards can take center stage.”

”We are delighted to once again partner with the Greeting Card Association and provide GCA makers an opportunity to connect with our retailers face-to-face and digitally,” said Tim Hart, senior vice president for NY NOW. “Buyers are ready to return to in-person markets, and we can’t wait to unveil the new GCA Village, which will be positioned in a prime location within our Gift + Stationery section.”

The GCA Village will be part of NY NOW’s newly launched and freshly curated Gift + Stationery section. As part of NY NOW’s integrated in-person and digital offering, all GCA Village participants will receive a free-of-charge booth on the NY NOW Digital Market from July 1 to December 31, 2021. The Digital Market is the year-round complement to the in-person show by allowing brands to tell their story to NY NOW buyers as they plan for the show, generate orders onsite, and follow-up post-show!
