NSS Design Our Valentines winners named

The National Stationery Show invited its 2019 exhibitors to submit their original Valentine-themed card designs for its 3rd annual “Design Our Valentines” contest.

See below for the winners and finalists of this year’s competition. Each design was new for Valentine’s Day 2019.

Category #1: Traditional Genre

This category is for Valentine’s Day-themed greeting card art, design, graphics and editorial direction that is wholesome, vintage, tender, romantic, serious or conservative.

2019 Winner: JooJoo Paper “Hedgehog Love”

2019 Finalists: Tallulah Madwell “Vintage Valentine” | Mailennial “Always Remember Love”

Category #2: Contemporary Genre

This category is for Valentine’s Day-themed greeting card art, design, graphics and editorial direction that is current, modern, on-trend, hip, fun, humorous, bold, sarcastic or snarky.

2019 Winner: Kweer Cards “Scrabble Card”

2019 Finalists: ilootpaperie “Gibbon Love”| Cabbage Cards “Dairy Moves Me”

Category #3: We Love the NSS

Exhibitors were invited to let their creativity run wild! This category was for Valentine’s Day-themed greeting card art, design, graphics and editorial direction that incorporated the NSS as part of their original design. Their design could include the NSS logo or could reference “NSS” as part of the design.

2019 Winner: Grey Street Paper “Candy Heart”

2019 Finalists: Dry Wit Goods “Let’s Get Lovey Dovey at the NSS” | Just My Type Greetings “NSS – We Love You”

Retailers are encouraged to continue falling in love at the National Stationery Show with the NSS V-Day Giveaway, inviting attendees to register by Jan. 25, and then attend the NSS for a chance to win one of five $100 American Express gift cards.
