NSS collaborates with The Emily Post Institute
The National Stationery Show (NSS), co-located with NY NOW, said it will collaborate this summer with The Emily Post Institute. Spanning five generations, The Emily Post, a family business that maintains and evolves the standards of etiquette with her seminal book Etiquette in 1922, will provide a meet and greet, book signing and podcast during NSS, which is held August 10 through August 13, 2019.
Meet & Greet with Lizzie Post
On Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11, 2019, Lizzie Post will talk about some of the etiquette dilemmas individuals face when planning events and working with customers and clients in the River Pavilion. Lizzie is the great-great-granddaughter of Emily Post, and co-president of The Emily Post Institute. She is also the author of Higher Etiquette, and co-author of Emily Post’s Etiquette 19th edition as well as Emily Post’s Wedding Etiquette 6th edition, and The Etiquette Advantage in Business 3rd edition.
Book Signing
Lizzie Post and Daniel Post Senning will mingle with attendees and exhibitors, and sign copies of their latest books on Monday, August 12 and Tuesday, August 13, 2019, in the River Pavilion. Daniel is the great-great grandson of Emily Post and a co-author of Emily Post’s Etiquette, 19th edition and The Etiquette Advantage in Business, 3rd edition. He is the main presenter of the Emily Post Business Etiquette Training programs which range from eLearning options and webinars to in-person seminars and both in-person and on-line Etiquette Train the Trainer programs.
Live Podcast
Lizzie and Daniel will host their Podcast, Awesome Etiquette, on the show floor on Monday, August 12, 2019, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the River Pavilion. Obtain advice based on everything from event planning, gifting and re-gifting to invitation do’s and don’ts and thank-you cards.
