New leader at Sakura of America

Sakura Color Products of America, Inc. (Sakura of America), the leading writing instrument manufacturer and supplier of art materials, announced Marc H. Chisaki’s retirement from his role as Sakura of America’s CEO and president effective December 15, 2018. Chisaki successfully led the company over the span of 25-years.

“On behalf of the Board, and everyone at Sakura Color Products of America, Inc. and Sakura Color Products Corporation in Osaka, Japan, we want to formally thank Marc for his many years of outstanding leadership and commitment to all of us.” said Kenichi Sugawara, director and senior general manager for the Overseas Business Division, Osaka, Japan.

The Board of Directors of Sakura of America announced Adam Reiner as the new president & CEO, effective December 16, 2018. Reiner spent the past 20 years with The Clorox Company, most recently as senior director of Burt’s Bees and Renew Life Digestive Health businesses.
