Made in America pavilion to join 2015 Las Vegas Souvenir & Resort Gift Show

Responding to retail demand for more products produced in the United States, Urban Expositions will feature a new Made in America pavilion at the 2015 Las Vegas Souvenir & Resort Gift Show, Sept. 16-19, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Among the highlights for the10th anniversary edition of the nation's largest souvenir show, the new pavilion will make it even easier for retailers to find the products their customers' want — all on one floor, in an easy-to-shop, convenient setting.

“Today's consumers want to know where their products are made and most are willing to pay more for items made right here in the US.  The new 'Made in America' pavilion will help our retailers build a reputation among their own customers as a great resource for the quality, domestically made resources they're looking for,” said Donna Guess, Urban Expositions’ vice president of operations & souvenir and resort shows. “It's just one more way we can all work together to help support the US economy and promote job growth here at home.”

According to Federal Trade Commission regulations, a product has to be “all or virtually all” produced in the US to use the “Made in America” qualification on its packaging or advertising. To qualify for the Las Vegas Souvenir & Resort Gift Show’s Made In America pavilion, products must be constructed in the US from a minimum 70 percent or more domestically produced materials.

In addition to the new pavilion, the 2015 edition will also bring together even more networking events and product resources the industry has come to expect, including hotel rates starting as low as $9.99 for retail buyers.

The new pavilion will also further enhance the show's selection of more than 1300 booths showcasing thousands of lines of souvenir and resort products in a wide range of categories, including destination, resort and tourist merchandise, souvenirs, green products, T-shirts, beach items, Made in America, coastal and nautical, lake, mountain and lodge, ski-themed products, logo products, shell items, giftware, jewelry/fashion accessories, toys/games and more.
