“NY NOW has been a long-time supporter of Gift for Life and we are delighted to welcome Tim to the Gift for Life board,” said Matthew Katzenson, chair of the Gift for Life Board. “We look forward to leveraging Tim’s deep B2B experience to further our fundraising efforts.”

“Gift for Life’s mission has become even more relevant in recent times given that many people of color are impacted by HIV/AIDS. Given NY NOW’s focus on using its platform and reach to support diversity, there is a strong fit between our missions,” said Hart. “NY NOW has a long history supporting Gift for Life. “I want to continue this tradition and ensure the NY NOW platform can be used to assist those whose lives have been impacted by HIV/AIDS.”

Gift for Life unites the gift and home industries against HIV/AIDS. Through a series of special events, cause marketing efforts and other fundraising initiatives, Gift for Life raises funds to benefit grant making to fight HIV/AIDS. In 2019, with Gift for Life’s help, its beneficiary DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS awarded grants to 22 organizations providing HIV/AIDS treatment, education, prevention and advocacy programs nationwide.
