Gift for Life celebrates industry’s Gift of Giving Award

Over time, there have been 14 Bert Tonkin Gift of Giving Award recipients. The award, which is named for the late Bert Tonkin, industry benefactor and president of Western Exhibitors, recognizes philanthropic industry endeavors and sustained self-less efforts for industry benefit.

Gift for Life celebrates the following members of our industry, whose good works during the COVID-19 pandemic have truly been a “gift of giving” to the industry and in their communities.

8 Oak Lane

8 Oak Lane is donating its creative/marketing services to retailers that need help with online/social marketing.

Blenders Eyewear

Blenders Eyewear is manufacturing and donating goggles for healthcare workers.


Corkcicle is donating commissions from online sales to their local retailers. #supportlocal

Gina B Designs

Gina B Designs did a pop-up sale online and donated 5 percent to local food shelves.


Goliath donated proceeds from its Virus game to World Health Organization during the month of April to support research necessary to stop the pandemic.

Retail Relief Program

Groove Life, Brumate, Puffin & Company and Tooletries grouped together for a Retail Relief Program in April giving retailers 27% of online sales through a unique retailer code.

International Housewares Association

International Housewares Association reimagined the State of the Industry Report. Now named IHA Market Watch, this report identifies key consumer needs and offers ways that product developers and retailers can fulfill them.

Lacefield Designs

Lacefield Designs is making and selling masks with proceeds donated to funding additional masks for healthcare workers.


Loloi founder, Amir Loloi, is using his extensive contacts in Asia to have masks delivered to healthcare workers across the country.


Mackenzie-Childs is making and donating 500 face masks per week.

P. Graham Dunn

P. Graham Dunn is making and donating PPE and masks.

Park Hill Collection

Park Hill Collection is donating commissions from online sales to their local retailers.

Peacock Alley

Peacock Alley converted their facility to strictly mask manufacturing and is donating them to healthcare and other frontline workers.


Snoozies has donated 10,000 masks and 1,000 pair of Snoozies to healthcare workers across the country.


Sullivans is donating proceeds from medical-appreciation artwork to the small business grant fund.


Spartina launched an online campaign through their D2C site that gives named retailers 20% of the selling price for all products sold through April.

T Jazelle

T Jazelle is donating all funds raised from the sale of their Relief bracelet to the Global Giving Coronavirus Relief Fund.

Vera Bradley

Vera Bradley is donating 5% of net sales of Cotton Face Masks to the Coronavirus Response Fund.

Woodchuck USA

Woodchuck USA is making and donating face shields.

Worlds Away

Worlds Away Founders Bob Berry and Lucy Woodson have had masks delivered to frontline workers throughout the southeast.
