Dallas Market Center closes temporarily

In a letter to Dallas Market Center buyers, Cindy Morris, president and CEO of DMC, announced that they would be closing their doors temporarily effective Monday, March 23. This came following the order by Dallas County for residents of Dallas County to “shelter-in-place” which included an order for non-essential business to cease operations through April 3.

“Even while temporarily closed we believe in continuing our mission of connecting buyers with available products. We will pick back up with our daily business, design events, and upcoming markets shortly,” Morris stated.

DMC has posted a list on the front page of their website of exhibitors with available ready-to-ship stock.

“Finally, I want to say that in the midst of this public health crisis we are learning a lot about each other and what values we demonstrate to our customers and our community. Health and safety are the highest among them but we also have gratitude—for the first responders and medical staff but also for the businesses that continue to serve their neighbors,” Morris said.
