Viabella Holdings announces acquisition of Marian Heath Greeting Cards

Marian Heath Greeting Cards (MHGC) has been a staple in the stationery industry for more than 74 years as a leading brand offering a distinct product line focused on fabulous art and current trends. Mrs. Heath started the Wareham, Massachusetts-based company in 1941, and it remained a family-owned business until 2002. For the past 12 years, private equity companies have owned the majority interest in MHGC.

Effective immediately, a new acquisition will return the business to a family-owned status, as Marian Heath Greeting Cards has been acquired by Viabella Holdings, LLC, owned by Marc Salkovitz, the former CEO of MHGC. Salkovitz and his family will continue the nearly 62-year family tradition. Salkovitz has been involved with growing the company for the last four years, and now as president of Viabella Holdings, plans to continue that growth and team atmosphere.

Viabella Holdings will continue to do business as Marian Heath Greeting Cards with its additional brands Viabella, Love Mother Earth and Portal. Viabella Holdings dba MHGC has been nominated for two LOUIE Awards from the Greeting Card Association. Additionally, seven luxurious Viabella designs were gifted to 40 Oscar nominees/talent as part of the Hollywood Swag Bag.
